On September 2nd, 2005 Equinox was asked,

What do we need to know right now?


EQ:  We would say this is obvious.  What thee need to know now is that thee are being blessed with the opportunity to see life, within thy own boundaries, that have been lived on so many other continents, even now.  Thee have been preciously protected upon the United States of America, have thee not?

Yes.

EQ:  Thee have not known starvation.  Thee have not known disasters that have destroyed thousands upon thousands in diseases and ravishings, have thee?  Thee have been protected.  And now there are many beings upon Terra vacating their existence in order that the rest of thee learn.  In order that the rest of thee prepare.  In order that the rest of the stop being armored and think that the rest of the world does not have an impact on thee, that because thy shores are safe, that thee do not have to be aware of the non-safety on other shores.  What a blessing this is for all of thee!  What an opportunity to grow, to render aid, to begin to use thy minds to think what dost thy life mean upon Terra!  What can thee do in these times to make thy life have meaning?  This is such a precious gift thee are being given.  And thee must look at it from that position.  Right now.

You said something about being prepared.  Being prepared for what?

EQ:  Dost thou think that there can not be other catastrophes in the United States of America?

No.

EQ:  But most people have absolutely no preparation, just as thy brothers and sisters on the coast had no preparation.  Did they?  No plan.  Nothing to help them to survive this.  So that many are seeking to become worse than animals.  Is this not so?  With just a little forethought, with just a little training, with just a little self-reliance, instead of expecting thy authorities to take care of thee, with just a little bit, this would not have been the cataclysm it has become.  Isn’t this so?

The reason that we weren’t prepared was because we felt so secure, right?

EQ:  When thee say “we”…

As in the people of the U.S.  A lot of the time we don’t really understand how much of a blessing we have and how safe we are.

EQ:  Absolutely.  Thee have been sheltered for millennia.  Thee have had no real wars on thy shores.  Thee have had no real famine, not in a very, very long time, no real plagues.  Thee have been a sheltered people who have become complacent, expecting others to care for thee when things go wrong.  Now thee see, as we have said over and over, "take back thy power!"  Do not relinquish thy safety into the hands of thy government, thy brothers, thy sisters, thy husbands, thy wives, thy children, thy parents.  This is not safety.  This is stupidity.  It is very easy to learn self-reliance.  Do not leave thy life in the hands of others.  This only creates fear.  Is this not so?

The fear that it won’t be there one day?

EQ:  No.  When something happens, if thee have no way of knowing what to do, what happens?

Oh, I understand.

It was the planetary consciousness or the planetary karma and the way we’re treating the planet that created this catastrophe, this hurricane, right?

EQ:  Absolutely.  We have warned and warned to watch thy waters.  They are reporting the waters to be two degrees hotter and this itself is a lie.  They are five degrees hotter.

Isn’t it a choice of yours to be affected by all this?

EQ:  Yes.  It is also a choice of thee to be affected by this, but thee must understand that thee have chosen to be born in this place, in this time, during this series of episodes.  So thy soul has made a choice to be affected by the planetary karma of this time.

Unless we chose not to be.

EQ:  No.

No?

EQ:  Thee have no choice over the planetary karma.  And it will affect thee.  Thee have a choice as to how thee deal with the effects.

How we prepare for…

EQ:  Or how thee act in it.  Dost thou understand?

How do you prepare?

EQ:  Have thee not been given instructions on what to put within thy reaches in case of emergencies?

Yes.

EQ:  Dost thee have the pack ready?

No.

EQ:  Well, this is one way to prepare.

So, in addition to bolstering our own self-reliance, how can we most help those people who are suffering because of the planetary karma?

EQ:  Because we would not advise thee to run there, for it is only worse when people go with no training and no idea what to do except a desire to help, so help in the ways that thee can.  If thee can send moneys, send moneys.  If thee can send clothing, send clothing.  If thee can send only thy good thoughts, and we will do this in our meditation tonight, then this is enough.  But keep in thy consciousness that these entities are showing thee something and they are sacrificing so that perhaps thee will not have to.

You said we have a choice dealing with the effects, right?

EQ:  Yes.

Well, couldn’t one of your choices be to not get sick from it?

EQ:  Are thee saying if thee were there or here?

There.

EQ:  If thee were there, there will be those that do not get ill.  Thee are correct.

Because they have a choice.

EQ:  But sometimes the choice is made by thy soul, not thy ego.

So those people who were affected by the hurricane, their souls chose that?

EQ:  Absolutely.

That was the tool they decided to use to develop and understand who they are.

EQ:  And what the planetary karma is evolving into and what others upon Terra, and particularly in the United States of America, must be aware of.

You said there is a planetary karma but I was listening to a tape earlier where you said there are those who surpass and get outside of the planetary karma.

EQ:  Often.

But you said that we are always affected by it.

EQ:  Thee will always be affected by it, but thee can be outside of the direct effect.  Dost thou understand?

So if you were to step out of the illusion and use your soul to make a choice…

EQ:  But thy soul may have already made the choice that it will have the experience to benefit humanity.

Can’t it change it’s choice?

EQ:  No.  It will not change its choice.  This is what it’s here to do.

So those souls that chose that knew that when they were outside of this physical…

EQ:  Yes.

So that tells me that God almost already knows the outcome.

EQ:  No.  Because forever, the ego has the choice as to how to react.

So they’re setting up the example to see how we respond and react to it?

EQ:  Including those entities that have chosen to pass.  How will they pass?  Will they pass by taking others down with them?  Will they pass by trying to rescue others?  Will they pass by trying to loot and harm?  Choices.  All choices.

So the soul has no choice?

EQ:  No, no, no.  The soul makes the choice.  The ego lives it out.

Oh, ok.

There’s a number of individuals that are stating that the hurricane was man made and driven.

EQ:  It was man made and driven in this way:  Thee are pollutants, thee are ravishers of Terra, thee do damage and consistently ignore what thee are doing.  Thee consume more than any other country on this planet and thee do it with no conscience.  And in this way, thee are soiling her.  And thee are soiling thy own beds, thy own fields, thy own waterways.  How long can thee do this before thee then see the effects of thy own soiling?

I’m saying that these individuals said…

EQ:  No.  We understand what thee are saying and there are always individuals that want to say somebody is creating these things other than through consciousness.  Because then, what happens?  Then the rest of thee will not take responsibility.  Thee had nothing to do with this.  Some other entity or alien race did it to thee.  And we would say this is a cop out.  Take responsibility as well as taking thy own powers.

But we, as the U.S., I realize we consume a lot of oil and natural resources but we also have the most laws as far a cleaning things up…

EQ:  Wrong!

Wrong?

EQ:  Absolutely, absolutely wrong!  Not only is this wrong, all through other countries they are much more environmentally conscious, much more about recycling their goods, much more about not using so much.  The United States is a pig.  And it is an arrogant pig.  Thy own presidents of these United States refused to go in with the other countries that wanted to be more environmentally conscious.

Is this because we rely so much on others, like the government, to dispose of our waste?  We throw away half a banana when we don’t really want to eat any more and then that ends up going to the dump and sitting there and decaying.  Is that what you mean by how we waste, how we’re pigs?

EQ:  The United States of America wastes everything.  Thee do not wait until thy shoes wear out.  Instead thee have 25 pairs and go to the newest.  And thee do not think about what happens to the man-made materials that can not be recycled within these things.  And do thee pass these things on to the needy?  No, thee throw them away.  Thee get a new car.  When?  Every other year.  Is this not so?

Some of us.  The rest of us want to.

EQ:  What happens to thy tires?  Now, finally, they are recycling them to make roads.

How environmentally safe is that process?

EQ:  Terrible!  Terrible!  They do not consider the environment when they do the things they do.  They dump chemical waste and pretend they’re not and then pay off someone to say it was treated.  And they do this, not even considering that they are poisoning their own beds.  Isn’t this interesting?

I’ve heard people say that in the future, when archeologists are excavating the remains of our society, they will find a lot of plastic and silicone boobs.

EQ:  Yes.  Think of it., the artificial breasts, the artificial nails, the artificial pectoral muscles, the artificial butts.  Pretty soon thee will not die, thee will just become obsolete, but thee will be a plastic obsolescence.

You mean like a vegetable?

EQ:  No.  Like a robot, a consciousness inhabiting a false front.

So our bodies will be full of plastic, so much that we’re really not human anymore?

EQ:  This could happen.  We are not saying it will.

But is that what you’re saying when you say we’ll be so full of plastic that…

EQ:  Yes.
