On November 5th, 2004, Equinox was asked,
Can you speak about destiny?
Are we born on Terra for a particular reason?
EQ: We have spoken before that there be what we would call a
planetary karma, for lack of a better word. And when a soul
decides to inhabit a body upon Terra, they have very specific things
that they are doing because they are living in an illusion. They
are living in the illusion of time and space. They are living in
the illusion of a physical body being them. So, yes, there are
specific things that a soul that is born on Terra is here to do.
They are here to learn, first off, that they are not physical.
But to do that, they need to be very physical. Dost thou
understand? They have to enjoy this body so tremendously that the
release of it is nothing. That they are so full of already having
knowledge of being physical they do not need to be physical. They
are here to learn, and what they are here to learn is that they never
disconnected from the Source. That is the illusion. It is
still all that is is the Source. Thee are not individual
beings. That is an illusion. But thee needed to do it in
physical. So everything that goes with physical, pain, death, all
of these things are an illusion. And until thee get to this
point, where thee absolutely understand that thing, thee will continue
thy processes here, learning special lessons and believing that there
be purpose being individuals instead of accepting thy unity. Dost
thou understand? It actually keeps thee separate, thee
know. It keeps thee separate because it keeps thee in ego.
We make a lot of choices before we incarnate here on Terra, where
does free will come into play?
EQ: Free will comes in in this way. The soul has a series
of events it wants to experience. It can experience it in reality
or in perception. That’s one free will way. Secondarily,
thee can have the experience, but free will will tell thee how thee
react to the experience. Is this not so? So, lets say thee
want the experience of marriage and children. And thee have this
experience. Are there not myriad of ways to perceive that same
experience? Is that not free will? We have known people who
have been in relationships that we, as entities with a broader
perspective, see as wondrous, but it is not enough for them. And
they make themselves miserable because they are thinking, we believe
there is a phrase, the grasses are greener somewheres else. So,
they give up what is good for what could be and end up then being
miserable again for what they lost. Again, perception. Dost
thou understand?
I do.
EQ: That’s all free will.
