On October 1st, 2004, Equinox was asked,

Will there be anything good to come out of our people being in Iraq?

EQ:  We will ask thee a question:  Is there ever anything good that comes out of violence?

    No.

EQ:  Thee have had over 2000 years of it.  What good has come of it?

I feel that that is why God or the Source has created all this really bad weather.  It’s a crying out that he’s asking people to stop this war.  It might be far fetched, but…

EQ:  We believe that, in any way possible, the planet reacts to the beings upon it.  And as beings upon it destroy more and more of the planet, the planet will react.  So, in a way, what thee are saying is so.  Dost thou think that thee can use bombs and weapons and not be destroying those parts of the world those things are happening to?  It is not just people that suffer.  Thee are destroying thy planet.  Which is not smart, for if thee burn down thy house while thee are in it, what happens?

How does that go together, if it does, with the statement that there is neither good or bad?

EQ:  We are not making a judgement of good or bad.  We are making a statement of fact.

These are person’s actions, but on the bigger picture, it will balance itself out one way or the other.

EQ:  Everything ultimately finds its balance.  Dost thou understand?  When the question was asked, it was asked as a person to person.  Dost thou understand?  Not as an idea.  Dost thou understand?  As an idea, everything happens as its supposed to.  It is neither good nor bad.  As a human experiencing these things, thee will experience them as good or bad.  Is this not so?  So, what has thy experience of violence been, good or bad?

    Are you asking me personally?

    EQ:  Anybody.

    Bad.

EQ:  As long as that is the perception, it is.  Is it not?

And later down the road - at least in my experience - looking back, it does create my personal big picture and it leads me in a certain direction no mater how bad it was at the time.

EQ:  We are hoping that all entities upon Terra learn to be introspective enough to grow from their experiences.  Has that been what we have seen?  Absolutely not.  If thee look at the history of thy planet, thee consistently repeat the same thing.  Do thee not?  We are hoping, and this is why we talk of the linkage and the hundredth monkey, we are hoping that when enough entities begin to ask these questions, begin to look and see patterns, that there will be a massive regeneration of the planet in a consciousness that understands that there is another way.  This is what we strive to do with our education.  Dost thou understand?
