On October 1st, 2004, Equinox was asked,

Is there truly something called absolute truth?

EQ: No.

Is truth, or the closest thing to that, whatever we perceive it to be?

EQ: Yes. Absolute truth has to do only with the amount of knowledge that one has at the point that the truth is spoken or believed. Dost thou understand? Once upon a time it was an absolute truth upon Terra that thee would never go to the moon. Now it is an absolute truth that everyone could. Is this not so?

Isn’t it absolute truth that all is one?

EQ: We don’t know.

Can you elaborate on that?

EQ: As far as we know, there is but one Source. And that is the entity or the energy that we are all a part of. Could there be another Source with entities acting exactly as we? We do not know. For our knowledge base, no. But, could there be? Perhaps.

No body has ever thought of that as far as I know.

EQ: No body has thought of a lot of things. Once upon a time it was believed that there were three dimensions upon Terra, is this not so? Then the string theory decided there were seven. Now they’ve decided there were nine or 13 or 20. Why dost thou think this is happening? Dost thou think it is happening because they are discovering that they were wrong or that new dimensions are being established? What?

Or maybe their eyes are being opened to what is.

EQ: All things are truth and all things are not truth. And this is what we mean. It is thy knowledge base at the time creates thy absolute truths and they are absolutely not true.

How comforting!

Doesn’t that fit in with the idea that once the majority believes, we create it?

EQ: Yes. Absolutely.

And your suggestion that other than the Source, there could be another…

EQ: We don’t know.

That would suggest that the Source could be limited.

EQ: And we do not know. As far as we know, the Source has no limits, but we have learned from multitudes of experiences of this combined of our consciousness that we have not found an absolute yet. Dost thou understand? So, we will not presume we know everything. And it keeps us safe.

To perceive that, you would have to be bigger than the Source, and you can’t be.

EQ: Exactly.

Because you’re part of it.

EQ: Wondrous, is it not? Such an infinite variety of wondrous thoughts.
