Does fate come into love?

EQ: We believe that sometimes two entities are meant to act out a particular dance by the souls. If thee are meaning that as fate, then yes. But thee can still choose not to do the dance. Dost thou understand? Everything is ultimately thy choice, even if thee don’t realize it. If thee have an accident and thy car is completely destroyed and it was not thy fault, somebody hit thee. Did thee have a choice in this?

No.

EQ: Absolutely thee did. Thee could have chose to drive slower and not been at the point where this entity would have hit thee. Thee could have chosen to drive faster. Thee could have chosen a different route. Thee could have chosen not to drive at all. Everything is a choice. There be no accidents upon Terra.

So, then it’s not an accident that a person was hit. Is that what you’re saying?

EQ: Absolutely not. Thy soul has chosen to have that experience.

So, at a certain level it is an informed choice.

EQ: Absolutely.

But not at our conscious level.

EQ: Sometimes it truly is a conscious choice. If thee look back on it thee will think, “Oh my. I really set myself up for that.” We will use an example. How many entities have thee known, or thee have done this thyself, have worked a job thee hated and bitched and bitched and then, when thee were fired, thee were shocked? Thee do not think thee set this up consciously? Absolutely.

Creating your own reality.

Why create the stress? Go into business for yourself.

EQ: Which is also stressful for many.

It can be at times.

EQ: Yes. Everyone cerates their stress. As we said, some people would never want the responsibility of the constant uncertainty of their own business. They would rather work for one entity for fifty years, get a watch at the end of this and retire to a lake.

Returning to your example of the car accident, unless you could foresee the future, how could you have made a conscious decision - conscious decision - to be the passenger in the car that got hit?

EQ: We did not say a conscious decision.

Or even an unconscious decision unless you know the future?

EQ: Dost thou believe that everything is random upon Terra?

Not necessarily, no.

EQ: Dost thou believe thee have the incapability of sensing in advance a particular possibility? Let us use an example. How many times, perhaps, have you ridden with a person and thought to thyself, “Hmm, I’m not so sure that I like the way this entity drives,” but yet thee drive with them over and over again? Is that not a conscious choice? And when an accident occurs…

In that instance, yes.

EQ: And we believe that this happens very, very, very more frequently than entities on Terra want to admit.

And yet, the driver of the car you were in, it was not his fault either…

EQ: Again, what we are saying is, all things happen for a purpose. All things have been chosen. How thee experience these choices are up to thee and set new choices.

In my impression that’s saying either you have foresight or…

EQ: Thee do.

Or predestination. Do you believe in predestination?

EQ: We believe certain things are - thy soul has certain experiences it has chosen to have in this lifetime, yes. How those experiences manifest and when is up to the soul. We believe that thee are confusing thyself with thy soul. Are thee?

I don’t know.

EQ: Let us explain. The soul is the entity that is reborn, over and over again. Dost thou understand this thing?

Yes.

EQ: We will use the vehicle, this being, as an example. This being’s soul is acting on the stage as the entity Joanee. Joanee has been this soul’s role in this life for so long that Jonie actually thinks she’s running the show. She really does. She isn’t; her soul is. For it is the soul which is having the experiences. The role is Joanee. This would be as though thee were acting in the play “Hamlet”, and the actor that was playing Hamlet began to believe that he was really Hamlet. Dost thou understand? This is the difference. Thy soul knows. It is the ego that convinces itself that it is being put upon. Dost thou understand?

Yes.

EQ: Become more in touch with thy soul. Thee will see thy patterns.

How do we do that?

EQ: Meditation. Reflection. All entities on Terra have patterns.

What’s reflection?

EQ: Reflection is an inward-looking. Saying, “Hmm, the last time I was in a predicament like this, this is what I did. Hmm, didn’t work real well. I’m doing it again. Oh my! Shall I change this a bit?” Dost thou understand?

Yes.

EQ: It is learning thy lessons because thee are aware of what thy lessons might be.

Life is pretty much full of lessons. That’s what being on this planet is all about. It’s one giant school.

EQ: What being on this planet is about is having experiences. Now, thee can have an experience and find it joyous. Thee can have the same experience and find it tedious. Thee can have the same experience and hate it. Can thee not? It’s all perception.

How can we teach our children positive perception of their lessons?

EQ: Example is a very good way. Dost thou understand? If each time thee have an experience that thee do not feel is as good as thee wanted it to be, if thee say, “Hmm. There must be something wondrous I can learn from this,” and, “Thank thee, Universe, for providing me this wonderful opportunity,” can thee see how this comes through to the children differently than, “Oh, shit! It’s happening again!” or, “Why does everybody hate me? Why does this keep happening to me?” Dost thou see how entities upon Terra often say these words? And the children hear them and believe them. And they will, if thee listen, thee will hear thyself in their speech. What a wondrous gift.
