On July 2nd, 2004, Equinox was asked,
You
almost answered the next question too which is: How can we learn
to be satisfied with what we have in our lives without becoming
apathetic?
EQ: Yes, we did answer it. It is very simple. All
things are what thee believe they are. If thee can be
appreciative of the wondrous gifts thee have, it does not exclude thee
from looking forward and saying, “And next, I would like to have this
experience as well.” And this gives thee something to aim toward,
is this not so, a new series of experiences. But thee do not have
to negate what thee have. For instance, let us say that one of
thee win the $200 million lottery. Wonderful experience,
correct? However, thee could be thinking this but still
appreciative of the life thee are living now. Or, thee could be
angry of the life thee are living now, resentful of those entities that
have $200 million. Or, thee can give up and say, “My life is
never going to be better,” and do nothing. Those are only a few
options. Instead, we would say be joyous in the life thee
lead. Be joyous in thy partnerships; be joyous in thy freedom; be
joyous in thy children, but also, look forward. Dost thou
understand?
In other words, life is a state of
mind.
EQ: Absolutely. Absolutely, completely. Everything
else is an illusion.
It’s all in how you perceive
it. There’s good and bad; you can look at it either way.
EQ: It is not good or bad. It just is. Good and bad,
again, is an illusion. What is good for thee may be bad for the
vehicle. What may be good for her may be bad for Len. This
is the wondrous thing about Terra is that each person has their own
perceptions. No two people see, hear, smell, taste anything the
same. So who are thee to tell this entity what she should like or
dislike or what is good or what is bad. Thee may love tomatoes
and someone else may absolutely hate them. If thee decided to
make that person love tomatoes, what are thee accomplishing? And
will it work? No.
