On July 2nd, 2004, Equinox was asked,
Some on this planet
look at karma as responsibility. The general population thinks of
karma as bad out, you get bad back. You put good out, you get
good back. If everything is perfect, why is there karma, and how
do the two work together?
EQ: It does not exist. It is a construct of thy
planet. And because thee believe it exists, it does, does it
not? As everything else we have spoken of, if thee are an entity
that believes thee have wondrous karma, good things come. Isn’t
this so? Thee have absolutely no way of knowing if thee have
karma, good or bad. And it makes for a wondrous explanation when
everything goes wrong. It is a construct of thy planet. It
is non-existent. All things are happening at the same time.
How can thee possibly be developing something from the past when there
is no past?
What about the memory of the soul?
EQ: Oh, the soul memory is wondrous. It knows what’s going
on all over the place at the same time. It does not believe in
time.
If I remember correctly, this is what
you referred to earlier as karma, is memory.
EQ: We have said that karma is responsibility. If thee
believe thee have responsibility, and thee believe thee have failed it,
then thee develop karma. Dost thou understand? But that is
only on this planet, or, shall we say, on this plane. For there
are other planets that believe this untruth as well. But it
works, doesn’t it? Thee also believe in sin. That works
too, doesn’t it. Thee believe in good and bad. That works
too. Thee believe in death. Is there such thing as death?
No.
EQ: Absolutely not, but thee believe in it. Thee are afraid
of it, many of thee. Thee believe in so much myth, and
consistently those myths are disproven. It just takes knowledge.
People die.
EQ: No, people don’t die; their bodies do. Thee have spoke
to thy deceased daughter. Dost thou think she is dead?
She’s just no longer physical. That’s not dead. Dead is
gone, no longer in existence, never was, never is, gone. But can
we do this with our energy? Is there anything known to anybody
that dissipates or destroys energy?
No.
EQ: Energy keeps building. It does not destroy. How
can thee then ever be dead?
So the physical body I knew…
EQ: Is no longer of use.
But her spirit lives on.
EQ: Her whole essence is still around, yes. And will never
be diminished completely. It just merges with her soul.
You’ve mentioned before that there’s
no good or bad and the Source is this loving energy, but how can it be
so “good” if it doesn’t recognize good or bad?
EQ: We would say how could it not be? If it is pure energy
in its utmost, then it is neither good nor bad, it just is. Dost
thou understand? Does thou not get charges from energy? If
thee share energy with another, doesn’t this feel good?
Yes.
EQ: How can thee not merge with the Source and not feel
good? Or as thee would imagine it as good.
So if we perceive terrible things,
that’s what we’re going to get?
EQ: Absolutely. If thee perceive that there be a hell, and
thee perceive that thee desire this place because thee are a “bad”
person, what dost thou think happens to thee when thy energy shifts?
That’s what you get.
EQ: Just because there is no physical body does not stop that
energy from manifesting its belief.
We can’t stop it by just saying stop
in our thought?
EQ: Thee have to work on thy thoughts, is this not so? Even
we have to work on our thoughts. But most beings on Terra don’t
want the responsibility of that. Most beings on Terra want to
believe that things are done to them. They vacate their
responsibility. They give away their power. What a wondrous
gift. “It wasn’t my fault. You did it!” But once thee
become a master of self, then thee know thy life is a direct reflection
of thy beliefs. What a wondrous gift this is. Do not beat
thyself up if thee are not manifesting all that thee think thee
want. Just know that a belief is in the way and find it.
So we stop ourselves from receiving.
EQ: Yes, absolutely. Thee put up the walls. It is
funny. We have watched entities that have said, “We want a
relationship very badly.” But as we look around their lives we
see many relationships, wondrous ones, that they are pushing away
because perhaps this person does not have the physicality they prefer,
or perhaps this person is too old or too young. Dost thou
understand? If instead they said, “We would like relationships,”
and allow in whatever comes and rejoice in that, then they wouldn’t be
lonely or empty, they wouldn’t be searching, for they would have it all.
