Why should we listen to you?
 

EQ:  Thee shouldn’t!  Thee should listen to self.  We say this all the time.  All answers are within thee.  But if thee choose to listen to us, the only real reason to do this would be because we see things from a different perspective than thee do, is this not so?  We see what thee would possibly call a more broader picture.  We have access to who thee really are; we have access to thy soul.  Not because thee cannot, but because thee know how and choose not, and we know how and choose to.  So if thee have the opportunity to look into the answer to a question and thee choose not to, but go to a friend and ask and get an answer thee choose to live with, is it any different than what thee do by coming here and asking us?

I think it’s different in that what you just said was that you see the broader picture; you see the soul.

EQ:  But is it not so that perhaps thy friend knows thy broader picture too, and thee do not even know it?

I think a lot of the time we know the answers…

EQ:  Not a lot of times, always!

We know the answer, we just want confirmation…

EQ:  This is so.

…because we don’t want to take responsibility.

EQ:  And this is true in some cases.  Some cases, it needs to be clearer, is this not so?  And in some cases, it just is that thee choose to not see what is right there, and we can provide the perspective that allows thee to see slightly differently.  This is all.  And thee can choose to listen or not to listen, many have.

So what can we do to better listen?

EQ:  To us or to thyself?

To ourselves.

EQ:  Trust.  It is all about trust, for thee are constantly being given the right answers, and then thee begin to doubt them.  And every time thee doubt thee hesitate, and then the answer shifts, is this not so?

Your talking about that voice inside your head, right?

EQ:  Or inside here [gesturing to the heart].  Thee think it is here [gesturing to the head]; it is here [gesturing to the heart].

Because that’s the center of us?  Is that why it’s there?

EQ:  Where are we pointing?

To the heart chakra.

Oh, to the heart.  Ok.

EQ:  All knowing, all knowing is here [gesturing to the heart], for this is where thee are connected to the Source, is this not so?  When thee truly love and feel, this is when thee are connected to the Source.  When thee think, this is when thee separate thyself from the Source.

We talked a little bit about that last time - how the mind messes us up because we think too much.  How do you stop that though?

EQ:  Trust!  Thee ask a question and what it says to do, thee do.  And even if it does not work out as thee want it to, give it the space of what thee call time, and thee will see it worked out perfectly.

So is that about what the guides helped us to set up for ourselves or was this something we did individually or was it both?

EQ:  Thee have set up everything thyself.  All thy guides do is reinforce or create the opportunities to remember.

If we ask a question we already know the answer to, do we sometimes ask that question because we know the answer, we just don’t like it and we’re hoping you’ll tell us something different?

EQ:  Often this is true.  Sometimes thee ask the question, wanting a different answer than what thee have, and when thee get it, it makes thee mad.  So sometimes it is the experience of being made wrong - or made right - that the entity is looking for.  And if we can tell this is it, we will give it to thee for this is the experience thee really need, is it not?  Sometime thee will ask a question and we will refuse to give the answer, isn’t this so?  And doesn’t it make thee have to trust thyself?

Yes.

EQ:  Wondrous!  This is what a teacher does.  A teacher does not pull someone along, do they?  Not if they are a good teacher.  They, instead, show opportunities for the entity to learn in the path.
