We have some concepts we would like you to address - "soul family".
 

EQ:  How dost thou explain "soul family"?  Let us see if we can.  In a very uncomplicated way, when entities left the Source, they left in groups.  This is why thee have the concept of young soul/old soul, dost thou understand?  Some entities jumped ship faster than others.  And they did it together.  Just like Terrans like to do things in groups, they jumped ship together.  And these became what thee call "soul families".  And these entities often reincarnate in…

Together.

EQ:  …or in the same land, or the same physical family.

Because they’re familiar, right?

EQ:  Yes, exactly.

They automatically gravitate towards each other.

EQ:  Well, they have had a series of multiple similar experiences, so they may have to learn the same things, dost thou understand?

So can one soul that has been married to another soul then in a later incarnation be brother and sister?

EQ:  Yes, absolutely.

And several times.

EQ:  Yes.

How can you change that soul family?

Detach and apply to another group…

I’d like a new family.

EQ:  This is not the way.  For dost thou not then see that there must still be lessons to learn with this group?

So I could get it right but they’re not so I have to hang around?

EQ:  Did thee not hear us say that this is a wonderful society of democracy upon Terra?

Ok.  Then address "soul twins".

EQ:  A "soul twin" is the same energy choosing to be born in the same lifetime at the same time.

Would that be identical twins then?

EQ:  No.  Soul twins are very rare.  The reason that thee cannot perceive of this thing is because thee think in absolutes.  Thee think of energy as being limited instead of without limits, dost thou understand?  Thee can break up something…we just got a vision from this mind.  Is there a substance that is mercury?

Yes.

EQ:  Can thee not split this, but when it has a chance, it goes back together?

Yes.

EQ: Soul twins.

Well then, your saying that my soul twin in this lifetime might be someplace else?

EQ:  Thee may not have one.

I may not…

EQ:  But if thee do, it will be somewhere else having very similar experiences.  Maybe exact experiences.

Then what about "soul fragments"?  Is there a difference?

EQ:  Yes.  A soul fragment is less than half; can be multiple pieces that are experiencing different experiences, dost thou understand?  It is the soul - the mercury - deciding that it wants to have multiple experiences in one time frame.  Now we understand there is no time but on Terra thee view things as time.  So let us say that one soul wants to have a multitude of experiences - including perhaps gender experiences - at the identical time.  Then they fragment and eventually come together and share the different perceptions.

Is that similar to that time you told that young lady here that she created her cat, that that was a piece of her?

EQ:  Yes.

But then soul fragments is a choice…

EQ:  Oh, yes, it is a choice,

…and it’s not that a part of your soul has been left behind and needs to be retrieved?

EQ:  That happens too.

And how would you know if that was happening?

EQ:  That happens when an entity is totally lost in time.

Would you know if you were lost in time?

EQ:  Yes.  Have thee not met beings that do not feel they belong at all where they are?  They feel totally lost and literally fragmented?

Yes.

EQ:  They are one of the fragments.

So they wanted to experience that part of the fragment?

EQ:  No.  This happens through…everything is choice, but this happens through a soul that does not want to be.  If thee can imagine there are such.  Some choose to stay in a place that is a plane of existence in which they are all that exists, dost thou understand?

Are these like people who when they die, don’t go to the Source.  They just kind of float around?

EQ:  No, this is different.

This is the coming in part, not the going out part?

EQ:  It can be either.  Let us explain.  Thee have a concept upon Terra of Purgatory, is this not so?

Yes.

EQ:  It is this but, not for everyone.  If a soul is as we have spoken, they may choose to go to a place that is a waiting place where all they do is experience what they have had.  Dost thou understand?

Is it good or bad or can it be both?

EQ:  It can be both.

With reincarnation, what is the wisdom of not remembering from each incarnation to each incarnation?

EQ:  The wisdom is that thee do not get so complicated that thee cannot live the incarnation that thee have chosen to experience, dost thou understand?  Also, the wisdom of that is: what would happen if thee had found that in a very past lifetime that thee had enjoyed eating human flesh and now thee are in a lifetime where that is abhorrent?  How would thee feel about this if thee had a conscious memory of eating human flesh.

In addition to that, these incarnations, they’re not all here on Earth?

EQ:  Oh, absolutely not.  Some are on different planes; some are on different planets.

So when you have a split soul could you be on Earth and on a another planet?

EQ:  Yes, absolutely.  Fragments can do that too.

Does that also pertain to - I forget the exact term - when somebody doesn’t want to be in that life or in that body, they step out and somebody else steps in?  What do they call that - Walk-ins?

EQ:  That can be a fragment.  If they have not arranged for a walk-in, and the soul in this body chooses to vacate and a lost soul that’s been kind of hanging out enters, this can be a fragment, because the totality of the soul did not commit to this.  So fragments do happen, but they are very rare.

Ok, we have one last part to this soul discussion.  We hear about it often and we read about it - soul mates.

EQ:  We believe that this is a term of hope; that each entity on Terra is hoping that there be one other entity that can take the place of the Source in them.  A being that gives them absolute love, no judgement, absolutely everything that they think they need.  And what we would say is, that’s funny.  There are entities upon Terra that each of thee know that are perfect for thee.  But it is not of Terrans to see perfection, it is to see what isn’t there, not what is.  So thee may have six or ten of them around thee at all points in time.  The chances of recognizing them are pretty minute.  So are there soul mates?  Yes.  They are entities that can make thee ecstatically happy.  Do thee recognize them? No, most of the time.  But it is wondrous for it is much better to grow with another than to stagnate with one that  thee think is perfect.

As reincarnation goes, can soul mates keep reuniting in each incarnation?

EQ:  No.

So you have one soul mate for each incarnation?

EQ:  No.  There could be many.

With in the same time period?

EQ:  Oh, yes.  However, the same entity will not reincarnate in each lifetime with the same entity, for what learning would that be?  None.

Unless you didn’t learn something the first time.

EQ:  And then would they be what thee call soul mates?  For is there anything to learn?

No!

EQ:  This is what we mean.

From the very, very beginning when we were all together as one and then we split off, didn’t our souls choose to be fragmented?

EQ:  Most of them, yes.  But there are always, always interesting experiences that souls choose to do to themselves, too, in their growth.

Such as create karma.

EQ:  Such as create karma, very good.  Would thee do this if the chose consciously?  But then once thee have done it, it is wondrous and thee keep it and learn from it.

If all of us are from the Source, then wouldn’t we all be soul mates?

EQ:  Yes.  Very good!  Excellent!  Yes.  This is true.  That includes same sex, that includes thy pets.  Everything is from the Source.
