The ego has its own agenda of experiences, the soul has its own agenda of experiences…
EQ: Not quite that way but go ahead.
Sometimes when you answer a question for someone, that person is having an experience and they say they want one thing but really something else is happening in their life that reflects deeper down what they want. Is that something that the ego has as its agenda or is it the plan of the soul and they just don’t know it?
EQ: It could be either but let us clarify. The soul comes in with a list of opportunities and experiences. The ego responds to this list of opportunities and experiences. Through its response it creates new opportunities and experiences. Sometimes those opportunities and experiences are in harmony with the soul intent, sometimes they are disharmonious. When they are disharmonious, the soul wins one way or another and this causes a struggle within the ego. This is what she meant when she said sometimes they are at odds, dost thou understand?
How does the ego become more in line with the soul?
EQ: The first step is to listen, to become aware of self, know whether thee are acting on or acting against, running toward or running from, fighting against or fighting for. When things are smooth - even when they are difficult - when things are flowing - even when they are difficult - it is a soul path. When things are not flowing - even when they are good - it’s the ego path.
Can you repeat that?
EQ: When thing flow - even when they are difficult - it is the
soul path. When things are disharmonious - even when they are good
- it is the ego’s path.
