What do we need to know right now?

EQ:  We would say the most important thing is what we have already discussed: that there is no lack.  For as the days go on and more and more thee are being inundated with entities being removed from their jobs, resources being depleted, scares about thy energy, scares about thy money.  These things are being manipulated in order to gain a response.  Thee are being herded and thee are following without question.  Believe that there is more than enough, that if all countries and all people began to share what was, instead of wanting to take and harm, this world would be the Eden it is.  But as long as thee believe that to have what thee need means to deprive another then this world will live in lack instead of abundance.

Is there an exercise that you would care to share with us to this end?

EQ:  Hopefully the meditation will address some of this.

When you said "…is being manipulated", who is doing the manipulating?

EQ:  Do we need to tell thee?

No, I’m just asking for the sake of asking.

EQ:  Thee have all heard of what is called "propaganda"?  And thee have all - if thee have studied the history of the United States of America - noted the propaganda each time thy president or any entity in power - Winston Churchill for instance - have wanted a particular thing, has there not been certain propagandas that create this thing to manifest?  Dost thou not think that entities in power have an agenda right now?  And is the agenda what thee think it is?  I know thee think the agenda is to go to war.

The agenda is completely different than what they want us to believe it is.

EQ:  The agenda is the rape of the planet.  The agenda is to NOT think of environmental issues any more, to feel that the lack is so big that it is alright to take the territories that have been set aside as wilderness and destroy them, to not worry about thy waters being polluted and thy air being polluted because industry needs to make money and thus can employ thee.  But is this not short-sighted?  If thee cannot breathe, if the food that thee eat makes thee ill BUT thee have thee money to buy it, are thee any better off?

Isn’t there some kernel of something inside of our world leaders - especially the one here - who knows better than that?

EQ:  But dost thou not understand that it’s not about knowing better than that, it’s about them thinking about making an impact in the history books.  They are not thinking in the long term.  None of these entities perceives that they will be here in 100 years.  But dost thou know that thee could be?  If the planet was healthy, if the things developed as they should, it is not an error to think that thee could live healthily into the 100’s.

But what do we do?  I’d love to protest but what do you do?

EQ:  Thee protest!  Thee protest!

I haven’t protested in years.  In the 70’s, growing up, we all protested.

EQ:  And there was a bit of a change, was there not?  At least there was a change in consciousness.  People began to question, people began to ask questions, people began to make demands.  It has come back now to entities being so apathetic as an excuse to be lazy, is this not so?  Have thee not even heard that they will begin to create automobiles again that eat gas.  This is the big thing.  What does that say when thee are wanting to go to war to get oil.  It is funny because thee do all these things so unconsciously but thee will live the result.  Which is wondrous if this is what thee want to do.  It is not our way.

And even if they, personally, won’t be here in 100 years, their grandchildren will be here.

EQ:  Thee are assuming that some of these entities - let us use Saddam as an example - that he cares.

I was thinking more in terms of "The Shrubbery". [ed. This is a nickname for George "Bush"]

EQ:  Even he.  Thee are making an assumption that he is thinking about his grandchildren.  And we would say unto thee, what he may be thinking about his grandchildren is that they will have the proceeds of all this money he is creating, they will have the name Bush and this is all the farther he is giving thought.  For he truly wants to believe that if the planet is being destroyed someone will fix it sometime.  Is this not typical of Terrans - that they always think that someone else will make the difference?  This a time of reckoning, this a time of saying "I am my brother’s keeper.  We are linked - the animals, the planet, the air, the water, the plants."  We cannot survive if there is no land that grows crops.  Dost thou want to begin to eat each other?  And that will not sustain thee.

Are there not weapons of mass destruction that Bush is afraid of that Saddam is keeping . . .

EQ:  Even if this were true then why are they not fighting Korea?  They have them, they’ve admitted it.  Why are thee not fighting Pakistan?  They have them, they have admitted it.  No, the focus is different otherwise there would be a stand against all countries that have armaments, all countries that have bacteriological warfare, all countries that practice these things but, no, it is one place, right now.  Question these things.  Don’t blindly accept.  Ask questions of everyone because even if thee ask questions of someone with no answer it helps them to begin to question, does it not?

It makes them think.

EQ:  Exactly

It brings them into consciousness.

EQ:  Exactly.

I’ve been talking about this with a number of people and I’ve found almost unanimously that they are seeing through the propaganda too.

EQ:  The world is becoming conscious.

Ok, so am I to believe that there is a lot more hope than I was originally seeing?

EQ:  Absolutely.  We have said before that one of the greatest gifts of this time is the internet.  Because it allows small people to talk, to share with entities from all over the world and once thee realize that the entities in Arabic countries have the same fears, desires and needs that thee do but their governments have different agendas then thee can begin to question what thee are being told.  When thee can get the news from countries all over the world, instead of just what thee get here, then thee can see other perspectives, is this not so?  This is why we suggested entities should travel, get to know beings from other countries as friends not as strangers.  It is much harder to allow a friend to be killed, is it not?  It is sad that it is so.  It should not be so but it is.  Make friends of people from everywhere.  See what is alike, not what is different.  Did we answer?

EQ:  Maybe more than thee wanted to hear?

Well, when you confirm stuff it’s kind of depressing.

EQ:  No!  It should be empowering.  Depressing is apathy, depressing is failure.  It should be: "Well, isn’t that wondrous.  So, now I shall take steps to make others aware.  Now I shall take steps to say no.
