What does freedom mean?
 

EQ:  Independence.  It is also complete trust and the belief in love, is this not so?  When thee are feeling very loved - and we are not speaking from another entity, dost thou understand this thing? - when thee are feeling very loved and very love, and when thee are feeling as though thee trust that all things shall work, then are thee not completely free?  For is this not the time that thee are most capable of taking risks and succeeding because thee are in the space of allowing the success?  Are thee not the most free when thee are like this?

Yes, because you have nothing to lose.

EQ: Or, thee do not care if thee do what thee call lose, for thee know that thee have everything.

That’s right, so your not losing.

EQ:  How can thee lose.  Things may disappear, but they are returned, are they not?  And entities that are worth having in thy life, if they leave, they return at some point, is this not so?  Even those that pass over, thee will be reunited in another form, is this not so?  How can thee lose anything?  Is loss not an illusion?  The only thing that thee can lose is thy beliefs.  If thee choose to believe in lack of freedom, in dependencies, and in lack of love and trust, then thee have created for thyself an illusion, but this is through choice, this is not through reality, dost thou understand?  Were there not entities that were locked away by entities known as the nazis?  And were not there some of those entities that retained their trust and their belief and their freedom, and because of this became great even in their trials?

Those were usually the ones that survived, thy had something to live for.

EQ:  Exactly.  The word "survival" conveys a trial, but sometimes what is happening is it is a setting free, it is not a trial at all, dost thou understand?  Sometimes in thy greatest trials, thee find thy greatest freedom, because all thee can do then is trust and let go.  Dost thou not realize that one of the greatest times of freedom is as thee are dying, for thee know then there is nothing more to fight about.  Thee can just let go.  And this would be, wondrously, a great way to live upon Terra.  For if thee all could just trust that thee are not seeing the broader of perspectives, but a very narrow one, and that which thee are holding on to and causing so much pain within thyself is often better left allowed to do whatever it is it will do anyway.  And that is freedom.

Is the kind of trust you’re talking about a faith?

EQ:  This would be another word for it, yes.  A faith in the fact that all things are as they are supposed to be.

Right, I’m not talking about a religious faith, I mean just having faith that you’re not going to fall.

EQ:  Or if thee do, it will not be a damaging thing.

How does personal responsibility relate to freedom?

EQ:  Personal responsibility relates to freedom in that on Terra all entities are linked, and thee will never truly be free until all other entities understand freedom, dost thou understand?  We will use an example.  Remember when we had stated that thy illusions are universal illusions, and that if thee believe thee cannot fly on Terra, thee cannot fly until enough entities upon Terra believed it and then it was invented?  Well this is true of all things.  Thee believe on this planet in a substance called gravity, do thee not?  It is also an illusion.  When the mass of entities stop believing in this illusion, then thee will be lighter than air, and that will be an additional freedom, will it not?  When thee stop feeling that thy resources are dependent upon one individual, then thee will be free, understanding that when all beings understand the reality of things, then all beings shall be set free.  If thee are making a plan and one being in thy group begins to have doubts, and begins to state these doubts in numerous ways, what happens to the group?

It complicates the process.

EQ:  Is it not true that, often, that one being poisons the group thinking, and it is not then accomplished what they set out to do?  Isn’t it wondrous how one being can do this thing?  What powerful entities thee are!

It’s a shame that the many in the group can’t convince the one.

EQ:  It is not about "can’t convince", it is that they do not believe within themselves anyway.  One of the problems on Terra now is that no one truly wants to lead or be led.  This creates chaos, does it not?
