Are the ego threads of each reincarnation different or the same?
 

EQ:  Nope!  They are different.  It is like light, light is wave energy, is it not?  But it is different wave energy, is it not - just the same as the soul. If thee can think of thyself as energy, thee will understand that thee vibrate, and thee vibrate to one song, but thee vibrate differently at different times, or in different incarnations, or in different experiences, dost thou understand?  So they are not identical, otherwise, what good would it be?

Then you wouldn’t be learning multiple lessons?

EQ:  Yes.  This is why thee often feel disharmonious.  Thy vibration is out of harmony with thy task, is this not so?  And then when thee change thy task or thy path, thee come into harmony again.  Listen to thy music; it will always keep thee safe.

You talked about the changing of the egos lifetime to lifetime.  What is it that causes us to forget from one lifetime to the next?

EQ:  We discussed this last time, did we not?  But what causes the ego to forget is…

The soul…

EQ:  No. The soul never forgets.

Ok, then it is the ego that forgets.

EQ:  The ego forgets, because it would be too complicated to remember them all.  And wouldn’t this also change thy vibration.  If thee were in touch with all the threads…have thee ever heard the difference between a six string and a twelve string guitar?  Different threads vibrating differently off of each other.  Thee are only allowed those vibratory threads that will harmonize with this life or thee are allowed none.

I understand that concept, but there are elements in this lifetime about the personality and the characteristics that one does not understand "Why am I interested in this?" and "Why am I interested in that?"

EQ:  And what we think is wondrous is, of what importance is the why?

The question is that it would bring clarity and understanding as to why…

EQ:  No.  No.  But what we would say is, of what import is the why?  How will knowing why help thee learn the lesson this time?  It will not.  It only allows thee to be here [gesturing to the head] instead of here [gesturing to the heart], dost thou understand?

Yes.

EQ:  It is a wondrous cop-out.  Thee can accomplish nothing if thee need to know the why of everything.  Why dost thou brush thy teeth?  Why dost thou brush thy teeth this way?  Why dost thou have teeth?  Why do thy teeth need to get dirty?  Dost thou understand thee can be studying this and never brush thy teeth?  And we find that many Terrans love doing this, getting into the why and never living!

You talk about listening to the souls song.  If you can’t hear it how can you?

EQ:  Thee can hear it, thee just think thee are feeling it.  When thee are feeling very stressed, is this not a high pitched, inharmonious feeling?

Yes.

EQ:  That’s thy soul’s song.  If thee are feeling very connected and very loved, is this not a feeling within thee of magical tunes playing within?  Thee are hearing thy song.

So you’re saying we hear it in the stress level and in the harmonious…

EQ:  Thee hear it in all levels, but we just took two extremes because Terrans like extreme.  If we were to say to thee, "Stop now and listen."  Thee would be sitting there saying, "What are we listening for?"  Correct?  But if thee were meditating, thee would know that there was something playing within thee, and thee flow with this in thy meditation.  When thee are stressed, thee know thee are stressed, and thy song is grating.  This is why we used the two extremes.
